With the POP Email Accounts feature, you can add or delete email accounts in your hosting account. The number of email accounts you can have depends on what hosting plan you are using and is shown on the left section of your control panel (cPanel).
Adding an Email Account
1. In your control panel (cpanel) , click on the "Email Accounts" link under "Mail".
2. Under "Add a New Email Account", enter the name of your new email account in the first field next to the word "Email:".
3. Enter the password for your new email account in the "Password" field.
4. In the "Mailbox quota (optional)" field, enter a value in MB (megabytes) that represents the storage you want to allocate to your new email account.
5. Click on the "Create" button to create the new email account.
Note: If the account was created successfully, the following will appear (except it will contain the information you provided in the blank fields rather than the information provided above):
Account Created
The e-mail account name@yourdomain.com with the login name+yourdomain.com with a quota of 250 Megabytes was successfully created.
Setup your email client using following information:
POP Account: name+yourdomain.com
Password: yourpassword
POP-Server: yourdomain.com
SMTP-Server: yourdomain.com
Deleting an Email Account
1. In your control panel (cPanel), click on the "Email Accounts" link under "Mail".
2. Under "Current Accounts", click on "Delete" next to the particular email account that you want to delete.
Note: If the account was deleted successfully, the following will appear (except name@yourdomain.com will be the email account that you deleted):
The e-mail account name@yourdomain.com was successfully deleted.
