Option 1:
-----------
You can retrieve your control panel (cPanel) password by visiting:
https://yourdomain.com:2083/resetpass/?user=username
For example, if your domain is 'johndoe.com' and username is 'john', then the link to your password retrieval should be:
https://johndoe.com:2083/resetpass/?user=john
For security reasons, a password validation email will be sent to the Contact E-mail you maintained in your control panel (cPanel). Once you receive the validation email, click on the validation link in the email to reset your password.
*** Common Mistakes ***
Q: I visited https://yourdomain.com:2083/resetpass/?user=username but didn't get any email.
-----------
A: That's because you did not change 'yourdomain.com' and 'username' to your own account's. See the above example once again.
Q: No, I changed those correctly before visiting the link but still no password validation email.
-----------
A: If you don't receive your password validation email after 30 minutes, it means you either don't have any email address specified in your control panel (cPanel) Contact E-mail field or that the email address is invalid. In this case, proceed to Option 2.
